Competitive imported billet raises pressure on Turkish scrap
Most Turkish mills are seen keeping their domestic scrap buying prices unchanged from last week, although western mills, except for one flat steel mill, decreased their prices on Wednesday, Kallanish notes.
Imported scrap prices, on the other hand, are seen following a stable trend, but are closer to falling now as the number of offers in the market is increasing.
