Commerce expedites review on Chinese stainless
The US Department of Commerce has decided to expedite its five-year sunset review of anti-dumping orders on stainless steel sheet and strip from China, Kallanish reports.
Commerce is recommending the continuation of the duties rather than letting them expire. The department anticipates that ending the duties would do nothing to curb existing dumping practices and dumping would likely continue, with weighted-average margins of up to 76.64%.
