Coking coal slides despite buyer activity
Australian fob coking coal prices were gently sliding despite a pick-up in buying interest during the week ended 9 February.
Kallanish assessed premium hard coking coal at $314.86/tonne fob Australia, slipping $5.43/t from $320.29/t fob the previous week.
On the Singapore Exchange, Premium Coking Coal Futures for March settled at $316/t fob on Friday, up $4.5/t from $311.5/t fob a week earlier.
