Coking coal plunges as supply concern eases
Australian fob coking coal prices fell during the week ended 24 February as supply concerns eased.
Kallanish assessed premium hard coking coal at $344.93/tonne fob Australia, plunging $61.62/t from $406.55/t the previous week.
According to traders, a deal was done at $390/t fob for 40,000 tonnes of Peak Downs/Saraji for April laycan on Tuesday.
