Cognor foresees better 2024 despite headwinds
The Russia-Ukraine war and global geopolitical tensions notwithstanding, the steel market outlook for 2024 is better than it was last year, says Polish steelmaker Cognor. Steel production should be brought under control in China, with numerous countries starting trade probes into Chinese steel, while loosening monetary policy should spur EU construction activity.
