CISA members cut steel output from December
China Iron & Steel Association (CISA) members saw crude steel output dip -4.1% in January from December, but but this was still up year-on-year. Based on this, CISA estimates national output may have reached 68.11 million tonnes, higher than worldsteel's estimate of 67.2mt, Kallanish notes.
