CIS steel output continues to decrease in February

CIS crude steel production decreased in February, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish. Regional output amounted to 6.4 million tonnes, down by 21.3% year-on-year. In January, CIS production was at 6.5mt, down by 25% (see Kallanish passim). In January-February, output was down by 20.7% on-year at 13.3mt.
