CIS increases crude steel output in September
CIS crude steel production increased in September, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish. Regional output amounted to 7.3 million tonnes, up by 10.7% year-on-year.
That total was less than the volume seen in August, when CIS production was 7.5mt, up by 10.7% on-year (see Kallanish passim).
In January-September, output climbed by 2% on-year to 66.3mt.
