Chiyoda Steel orders Danieli equipment for Ayase plant
Japan's Chiyoda Steel and equipment supplier Danieli have signed a cooperation agreement for a major upgrade project for an endless casting-rolling rebar plant.
The Japanese steelmaker ordered a new ladle furnace, a single-strand caster, and the upgrade of its existing rolling mill to match the Danieli QLP endless casting-rolling process. The new equipment and technology will be installed at the Ayase plant in central Tokyo.
