Chinese steelmakers report 2020 results
Four Chinese steel enterprises have announced their 2020 operational results or earnings forecasts, showing positive changes for all but Fujian Sangang Steel Group, Kallanish notes.
Hunan Valin Steel disclosed its production of iron and crude steel were 21.09 million tonnes and 26.78mt respectively in 2020, up 5.98% and 10.16% year-on-year. Production and sales of finished steel increased 9.97% and 8.14% respectively y-o-y to 25.16mt and 25.13mt.
