Chinese steelmakers hike April flats offers
As the demand outlook for April remains bullish, Chinese major flat steel manufacturers, Baosteel, Anshan Iron & Steel (Angang) and Benxi Iron & Steel (Bengang), have hiked their quotations for April this year, Kallanish notes.
Most of Baosteel’s products will have an increase of CNY 200/tonne ($29/t), including hot rolled, thick plate, galvalume and coated steel. That is basically the same as in March.
