Chinese scrap holds on lower supply
China's scrap market slowed its decline last week, with market arrivals below daily consumption.
On Friday, Kallanish assessed 6mm+ heavy scrap delivered to mills in eastern China's Yangtze River Delta at CNY 2,717/tonne ($376/t), including VAT. This is unchanged from Thursday and down CNY 6/t from a week before.
