Chinese mills raise or hold construction steel offers
Major Chinese construction steel producers have kept their offers unchanged or lifted them by CNY 10-50/tonne ($1.6-8.0/t) for early February. Relatively low mill inventory and better export volumes are giving steelmakers confidence to maintain or increase offers over the winter restocking period, Kallanish notes.
