Chinese long steelmakers lift mid-February offers

China's construction steel prices have ushered in a significant increase after the Spring Festival holiday, supported by positive stimulus in the domestic and overseas financial markets. All three steelmakers in eastern China, Shagang, Zenith and Yonggang, announced CNY 100/tonne ($15.72/t) increases in their rebar ex-mill offers, Kallanish notes.
