Chinese HRC keeps sliding as consumption weakens

Chinese hot rolled coil prices moved downward slowly last week, along with falling apparent consumption highlighted by inventory data, Kallanish notes. In Shanghai on Friday afternoon, 5.5x1,500mm Q235B HRC was traded at around CNY 3,760-3,780/tonne ($518-521/t), down CNY 20/t on-week.
