China's scrap prices falter on-week despite less supply
China's scrap steel pricing finished lower after a week of fluctuations, but market arrivals are decreasing due to unfavorable weather.
On Friday, Kallanish assessed 6mm+ heavy scrap delivered to mills in eastern China's Yangtze River Delta at CNY 2,830/tonne ($389/t), including VAT. This is CNY 8/t higher from Thursday but down CNY 5/t from 21 June.
