China targets Tsingshan with stainless dumping investigation
China’s Ministry of Commerce has announced it will commence an investigation into imports of stainless steel billet and hot rolled coil from the European Union, Japan, South Korea and Indonesia.
Although the investigation covers a wide range of origins, one stands out. China’s privately-owned stainless steel giant Tsingshan Group has been importing stainless HRC from Indonesia, Kallanish notes.
