China business knocks Kobe’s earnings
Japan’s Kobe Steel announced this week it has cut its forecast results for the year ending March 2016 to a JPY 20 billion ($166 million) loss. The news came as it announced losses for the first three quarters of the financial year, driven by a slowdown in demand in China, Kallanish notes.
