China prompts its steelmakers to invest in Brazil
China is encouraging steelmakers to participate in a new 10 million tonnes/year Brazilian steelworks, according to local media. The project is also part of Brazil's attempts to secure investment to restart the economy but similar scheme have failed in the past, Kallanish notes.
