Chinese stainless output to grow after AD duties
China has announced it will conduct an investigation into imports of stainless steel billet and stainless hot rolled coil from the European Union, Japan, South Korea and Indonesia. Market sources say domestic stainless steel companies have begun to increase production and capacity investments to meet market demand, Kallanish notes.
