Chile’s CMP expects record-high production in 2023
Compañía Minera del Pacífico (CMP) iron ore production remained stable quarter-on-quarter during Q3, Kallanish learns from the company's latest report. CMP is the mining arm of Chile's CAP Group.
The company expects to end 2023 with record-high production, which should surpass 17 million tonnes, and plans to increase its performance by an additional 2mt per year by 2028. For comparison in 2022 output was 16.5mt.
