Champion Iron to purchase Pointe Noire pellet plant
Montreal-based mining company Champion Iron is set to acquire the Pointe Noire iron ore pelletizing facility located in Quebec, Kallanish understands.
In a notice, Champion Iron announced that the company has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the Pointe Noire facility from Société Ferroviaire et Portuaire de Pointe-Noire for a cash total of CAD 2.5 million ($1.95m).
