Canada adds 9 rigs, US count flat
Additional operating rigs in Canada pushed the North American rig count to continue its upward climb last week, Kallanish learns from the latest Baker Hughes report.
Nine net rigs were added in Canada during the week ended 3 December, bringing the country’s count to 180. Seven oil rigs and two gas rigs were added to Canada’s count. This brings the count 78 above the same week last year.
