Canada adds 2 rigs, US loses 3
The US dropped operational rigs for the week ended 3 March by three to total 749, while Canada added two for a total of 249, Kallanish learns from energy services company Baker Hughes.
Of the US’ total rigs, 592 are for oil and 154 are for gas. The remaining rigs were classified as miscellaneous. This is an increase of 97 from the equivalent week last year.
