British Steel shows interest in Latvian acquisition: reports
According to local media reports in Latvia, a consortium, including the UK’s British Steel, is interested in acquiring the complete facilities of the insolvent steelmaker KVV Liepajas Metalurgs (KVVLM).
Since it entered administration in 2016, its Ukrainian owner KVV has been attempting to sell the troubled mill, firstly as a going concern, and more recently by auctioning off discrete parts of the business.
