Brazil’s semis exports grow in January
Brazil saw exports of semi-finished products rise month-on-month in January, according to Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data. Shipments were also higher compared to the same period in 2022, Kallanish notes.
Brazilian semis shipments abroad totalled 773,866 tonnes in January, up 16.6% over December 2022 and 5.7% higher versus the same month a year earlier.
