Brazilian wire rod exports decreased on-month in December. Shipments were also weaker on-year, according to the latest Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) report monitored by Kallanish. Imports meanwhile grew.
Brazil exported 3,690 tonnes of wire rod in December, 22.6% less over November and 41.5% down on-year. Full-year 2021 shipments reached 51,474t, down by 1.8% compared to 2020, according to Mdic.
