Brazil’s automotive sector recovers on-month in August
Brazil’s automotive sector saw both production and exports increase month-on-month in August. The industry’s performance, however, remained weak year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
According to the local automotive association Associação Nacional dos Fabricantes de Veículos Automotores (Anfavea), production rose 24% on-month in August to 226,954 vehicles. That output was 4.6% lower compared with the 237,961 units produced in August…
