Brazil's 2023 pig iron production slips, exports grow
Brazilian pig iron output decreased month-on-month and year-on-year in December and posted weaker full-year results. Export volumes, however, rose sharply during the month. The country ended 2023 having shipped more pig iron abroad than in 2022, Kallanish notes.
