Brazil and Argentina are evaluating creating a common currency to boost bilateral trade and reduce dependence on the US dollar, Kallanish notes.
So said the presidents of both countries, Brazil’s Lula da Silva and Argentinian Alberto Fernández, after their meeting during the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States' (Celac) summit held in Buenos Aires this week.
