Turkish merchant bar prices seen bottoming, demand rebounds

Turkish merchant bar producers saw an increase in demand last week as buyers were convinced that prices had bottomed. This caused prices to increase slightly from the prior week. On Friday, producers’ export quotes were pegged mostly at around $680-710/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $690-720/t for IPN-UPN sections, $700-730/t for flat bars, and $690-720/t for IPE sections.
