BHP maintains FY24 iron ore production guidance
Global miner BHP has maintained its FY24 iron ore production guidance at between 254 million tonnes and 264.5mt. This was despite its iron ore production for the nine months ended 31 March 2024 falling slightly, Kallanish notes.
BHP says in a statement that its total iron ore production for the nine-month period decreased by 1% year-on-year to 190mt.
