Benelux scrap prices stabilise despite export market pressure
Scrap prices in the Benelux remain unchanged from last week despite the pressure seen in major export destinations Turkey and India.
On Monday, Benelux exporters’ dock prices were pegged mostly at around €330-335/tonne ($361-366), the same as last week.
However, the flow of material remains weak as domestic suppliers are seeking higher prices amid further tightened supply due to harsh weather conditions.
