Benelux scrap prices continue decline amid pressure
Scrap prices in the Benelux are seen continuing to decline due to weak export markets and the drop seen in domestic mills’ November prices.
Exporters’ dock prices were at around €270-290/tonne ($278-299) on Monday, down €15-20/t from last week. However, amid weak inflow, the exporters needing urgent material are seen being forced to pay the higher end of this range, while others are mostly staying at the low end of the range.
