Benelux scrap prices rise despite activity weak
Scrap prices in the Benelux have increased from last week due to the improved activity in the Turkish market last week, Kallanish notes.
Dock prices, which stood at €295-305/tonne at the beginning of last week, were mostly at €300-310/t ($322-333) delivered on Tuesday.
However, trading activity and flow remains limited as suppliers are targeting higher prices, at above €320/t, due to their high costs.
