Baosteel's Zhanjiang plant builds two coke ovens
Baosteel's major Zhanjiang steel base in southern China's Guangdong province has recently started construction of two coke ovens to support its third blast furnace project. The designed capacity of this project is 1.6 million tonnes/year, Kallanish notes.
