Baosteel restarts No.3 BF from overhaul
Baowu Group's Baosteel has ignited the No.3 blast furnace at its Baoshan steel plant last week after the furnace completed an overhaul.
This blast furnace was suspended on 22 December 2021, and the maintenance lasted for 98 days. It was constructed by Shanghai Baoye, and around 1 million tonnes of pig iron output was lost during the maintenance, Kallanish notes.
