Baosteel pushes up April flat steel offers
Major Chinese flat steelmaker Baosteel is lifting its steel offers for April shipments, with Chinese demand recovering in March and expectations for April being strong, Kallanish notes.
Hot rolled coil, thick plate, sections and cold rolled coil offers have been lifted by CNY 300/tonne ($46/t), CNY 300/t, CNY 200/t and CNY 100/t, respectively. These had been unchanged in March.
