Baosteel mass-produces low-carbon automotive steel
The low-carbon automotive steel sheet jointly developed by Baosteel and Beijing Benz has started mass production this week.
The product, named “BeyondECO -30%”, is produced at Baosteel's Baoshan base on the 1,550mm electrogalvanizing line, Kallanish learns from the companies. Compared with previous automotive sheet, BeyondECO -30% can achieve 30% carbon emission reduction.
