Baosteel commissions Fives for Zhanjiang annealing line
Baosteel, part of Baowu Group, has commissioned French-headquartered technology supplier Fives to supply a new continuous annealing line for its Zhanjiang steelworks. The line is part of the steelworks’ second phase expansion, Kallanish notes.
The new 630,000 tonnes/year line will be part of the new No. 3 cold rolling complex. Fives says it expects first production in 2021.
