Baosteel boosts January flat steel offers
In order to take advantage of rising markets and based on strong market sentiment, major Chinese flat steel producer Baosteel is increasing its flat steel offers for January, Kallanish notes.
Thick plate and hot rolled coil offers will be increased by CNY 300/tonne ($45.8/t) and CNY 400/t respectively. This is six-fold and four-fold higher respectively than the previous increases for November.
