Bangladesh’s Al-Falah eyes capacity expansion
Bangladesh-based Al-Falah Steel & Re-Rolling Mills aims to treble its mild steel rod production capacity to 216,000 tonnes/year in 2025, Kallanish notes.
The company previously raised its billet production capacity to 151,200 t/y from 64,800 t/y.
In March 2022, SS Steel acquired Al-Falah Steel (see Kallanish passim).
