Balakovo reduces gas consumption
MZ Balakovo, part of the Novostal-M holding, has reduced its consumption of natural gas by 15%, Kallanish notes. The effect was achieved thanks to the revamp of four steel ladles.
According to the company, it also achieved a new record for steel ladle refractory lining durability of 193 heats, with no intermediate repairs.
