Bahrain rebar retail prices soften over poor demand
Bahrain's rebar retail prices have softened to BD 250/tonne ($665) from last week's BD 251-255/t, both delivered on a credit basis for 60 days, notes Kallanish.
Local producer Universal Rolling Mill (Unirol) is quoting rebar at around BD 240-243/t delivered on a credit basis, subject to quantities and payment terms. It is preparing to undertake its maintenance shutdown in early July for nearly two weeks.
