Argentina production grows in 2022 despite December drop

Argentinian crude steel output decreased sequentially in December but remained higher on-year, Kallanish notes. According to national steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero (CAA), Argentinian crude steel output totalled 439,600 tonnes in December, down 4.2% or 19,400t on-month.
