Argentinian crude steel output decreased sequentially in December but remained higher on-year, Kallanish notes.
According to national steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero (CAA), Argentinian crude steel output totalled 439,600 tonnes in December, down 4.2% or 19,400t on-month. This volume, however, was 2.6% more on-year. Full-year 2022 output totalled 5,093,600 tonnes, a growth of 4.5% on-year.
