Argentina’s Acindar pauses production again
Argentina-based long-products steelmaker Acindar will halt its operations for three weeks between June and July, Kallanish notes. This is the second stoppage this year, following a pause that lasted from 18 March to 15 April.
As in the previous case, the measure follows adverse market conditions, insufficient construction sector demand, and a persisting economic crisis in the country.
