ArcelorMittal Zenica to resume production, ore procurement
ArcelorMittal’s Bosnia-based Zenica long steelworks plans to resume production this week, the company confirms to Kallanish.
In November 2023, the plant temporarily paused production at its rolling mills, due to weak market conditions (see Kallanish passim). The plant had intended to resume normal operations as soon as there is a demand recovery at a level that allows the business to operate sustainably.
