ArcelorMittal Spain’s hybrid EAF project receives EC funding
The European Commission (EC) has approved €460 million ($492m) in support to Spain to co-fund ArcelorMittal’s decarbonisation plan in the country.
The measure will contribute to the achievement of the EU Hydrogen Strategy and the European Green Deal targets, while helping to reduce dependence on Russian fossil fuels and fast forward the green transition, the EC says in a note sent to Kallanish.
