AMSA books losses in 2023
ArcelorMittal South Africa (AMSA) fell into losses in 2023, weighed down by a difficult international and local trading environment.
According to the company's results announced on 8 February, its steel sales volumes were up 12% to 2.41 million tonnes in the past year, including 1.89mt of local sales and 510,000t of exports.
