ArcelorMittal Italia eyes Taranto ‘green’ conversion
ArcelorMittal Italia is partnering with shipbuilder Fincantieri and Paul Wurth Italia for the green conversion of the existing integrated cycle of ArcelorMittal’s steelworks in Taranto. The collaboration will mainly test new technologies for reducing emissions, but a study to produce high-resistance steel for the shipbuilding sector is also envisaged.
